The Character of the Sacred Birman

With the description of the character from the Sacred Birman, you have to start from the general characteristics. As soon as you have more than one Sacred Birman you will notice that not one single Sacred Birman is the same as the other

In general Sacred Birmans are keen on contact with humans. They show this to you by sitting close to you or hang around you. Sometimes they also try to bite your hand a little if they have the opportunity. They also try to challenge you with the retrieve of a piece of paper. As wel as male as female Sacred Birmans are able to retrieve, only not on command but only when they like to.

Sacred Birmans have a problem with being alone, especially when you are working all day to earn a living for yourself and for your Sacred Birman a second Sacred Birman the best solution. Off course it do not have to be a Sacred Birman. A Sacred Birman can have company of different kind of animals, only you have to keep in mind that the Sacred Birman is slightly mandatory.

To get the best relation between your animals, it is the best to put them together as young as possible.

Sacred Birmans can be raised to friendly and nice pets, however it is important that you make the rules and not your Sacred Birman. The Sacred Birman will if he/she gets the challenge to make the rules for you. Especially when you keep in mind that a Sacred Birman is intelligent and has a specialty when he/she has done something to have a look that he/she does not know where you are talking about. Please be careful for this beautiful blue eyes.

It is a fairytale to say that your female Sacred Birman is happy when she gets a litter. If you do not have the time to help your Sacred Birman with raising her kittens, please have her sterilized. This is better for yourself and especially for your Sacred Birman.

For the male counts the same as the female, also the male does not have to be in its original stage. It is even the opposite, a male that has not sufficient breeds can become very nervous. Please have him castrated as soon he is ready for it (when he is about 9 months old).

Till so far a short description of the character of the Sacred Birman. This description is far from complete, but as mentioned in the beginning "a Sacred Birman is a character on its own".
